Hans Christian Wedelsted Nielsen (May 10, 1928 - March 5, 1990) was a Danish amateur association footballer, who won 25 caps for the Danish national team as a defender from May 1958 to June 1961, and won a silver medal at the 1960 Summer Olympics.[1] Born in Odder, Hansen spent his club career with nearby top-flight club Aarhus Gymnastikforening (AGF).[2]
After ending his playing career, Nielsen worked as a salesman, and was a life-long volunteer in the AGF youth department.[3] He died on March 5, 1990, in Aarhus.[2]
